I'll just convert this lovely thread into my ideas.

First off. I'm quite content with being a Writer only, if that's alright with you. I'm fairly confident we'll get a large sum of Moderator applications and a reasonable amount will be accepted, so I can just resume my duties as a meager writer.

Secondly. May we get some more forums about? Is it possible to get sections divided so Writers have their own area, Moderators have their own area, and Artists have their own area? (Of course, all staff can access these areas.)

There should be a post with Staff Applications made and locked so people are not posting their applications there. Instruct them to open a Private Message and send them to Admin, and then Admin can post them in their respective department Application forum. Staff can then give honest opinions regarding the application without worrying about offending the applicant.

Departments should have five forums:
- Applications
- To Do Lists
- Completed
- Staff Logs
- [Department] Discussion

Maybe more. Feel free to suggest if you'd like one added.

Again, I'll bring up the Head of Department idea. It's still great, I think.

Are there boards that only staff may enter, or are all users capable of entering the threads here in this forum? I ask this because I have made it so that, when users apply for a Writer/Editor position, they must PM me their application. I was going to post the applications in a place that only the staff can see so this would give staff the opportunity to share their opinions without the applicant seeing. I worried in the Aeripets forums that people were just accepting applications because the applicants could see their opinion. I don't want that to happen here.

If there are no forums that we can post applications in and give honest reviews, we really should think about making one.

In one of the previous layouts I had a Staff Only spot, but I don't know if Martyn messed with it, so ask him about that.
